Curriculum update – August 2014

52426WA Certificate I in Entry to General Education will expire 30 September 2014. The new curriculum has been drafted and has been submitted to the Training Accreditation Council.   Email cheryl.wiltshre@dtwd.wa.gov.au if you need a draft.

Course in Applied Vocational Study Skills 52626WA (CAVSS) is now implemented with new Business Rules available. The previous CAVSS course has now expired so make sure that you are using (enrolling students in) the new course.

52379 Course In Underpinning Skills for Industry Qualifications (USIQ) has been re-accredited, and the Business Rules are now  available.

52379 Course In Underpinning Skills for Industry Qualifications (USIQ) will expire 30 April 2014. The Course Concept Proposal has been submitted to TAC and approved by them. The Course Accreditation Application is in progress.

Course in Applied Vocational Study Skills (CAVSS) has been re-accredited with the current course also extended to April 2014. The Business Rules are currently being reviewed.

WA Curriculum Update

52379 Course In Underpinning Skills for Industry Qualifications (USIQ) will expire 30 April 2014. The Course Concept Proposal has been submitted to TAC and approved by them. The Department is seeking feedback to inform preparation of the Course Accreditation Application which it is hoped will be finalised in November 2013. If you deliver USIQ yourself please complete and return the questionnaire to Sylvia.Mitchell@dtwd.wa.gov.au by Friday 8th November 2013. Certificate 1 in Entry to General Education Moderation

The Certificate 1 in Entry to General Education (EGE) was recently reaccredited.

Moderation meetings will be held for this curriculum in semester 1 and 2 during 2012. They will be coordinated by the Department of Corrective Services via teleconference and held in February and August. Specific dates are yet to be set.
